We offer gardens, meadows, an open air pavilion, and more.

In the rare event of inclement weather, our Barn is available as an alternative venue. Please note that the Barn is not included with overnight accommodations.

River Valley Place features two fully furnished, decorated, and stocked houses which can accommodate up to 18 overnight guests. Between the Country Cottage and the Modern Farmhouse there are 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 stocked kitchens, 2 complete laundries, and plenty of gathering space, indoor and out.

Planning

Most events take about 2-3 months to plan.

We hold to a standard typical with other event venues when it comes to noise. No free standing subwoofers allowed, standard speakers with built in woofers are ok. We enforce a noise curfew of 11 pm Friday and Saturday nights. We require a policy deposit that can be forfeited for violating our policies, including noise.

Yes, tables and chairs are included to ensure your convenience.

No, we allow you the flexibility to choose your own caterer. We can provide a list of preferred caterers for your event.

Yes.

River Valley Place allows BYOB for your event. RVP allows wine and beer only to be served, not sold, to adults in a controlled fashion. We require the signing of our Alcohol Policy and Release agreement that outlines other rules and guidelines and provides a comprehensive release of liability for RVP.

Yes, we have a curated list of preferred vendors to assist you in planning your perfect day.

Day Of

This is where we really shine!

At River Valley Place, you have the option of renting overnight guest accommodations plus event venue grounds, together!

For the ultimate wedding experience, we recommend a 2 or 3 day wedding package.

Here you can have your rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception, and day after gathering in one spot, spread out over an extended weekend.

No rushing around from multiple locations, no hurried set up, no night-of cleaning marathon. This is the ultimate low-key, but glorious, event experience that few other venues could offer.

Maybe. Depending on certain details of your event we may require you to purchase event insurance to cover your event at River Valley Place. The need for event insurance will depend on what activities you plan or if your guest count is over 50. This protects you and us from a liability situation. The policy must list River Valley Place as insured (certificate holder). Even if we don’t require it, we encourage you to consider purchasing event insurance just to be safe.

Music must conclude by 11 pm.

Booking & Payments

To reserve your event date, please complete our contact information form and schedule your booking appointment. This will ensure that your desired date is secured for your special day!

Yes, a retainer is required to secure your date.

The retainer is due at your booking appointment to secure your date. Future payments are typically scheduled 12 months, 8 months, and 4 months from your event date. Any additional upgrades are paid in full at your final planning meeting.
